From the DPS Studio in Indonesia capital city Jakarta, fictionally live in front of a studio audience, it’s DIMAS PETTIGREW’S BEST OF 2012! And now, our hosts, Alyson and Nick!
*Alyson and Nick arrive at the studio and greet live studio audience*
Alyson: “Good evening, everyone!”
Nick: “It’s finally two-hour special live show!”
*audience cheers*
Alyson: “Wow, I can’t believe how enthusiasm of the live studio audience, they’re so excited, especially CherryBelle will perform on the live lounge.”
Nick: “Not only them, but also Hedley, Marianas Trench, and OneRepublic will too.”
Alyson: “Wow, and we’re getting closer to the live finale, by the way Luke is finally back from his winter holiday as he finally works again as the social media correspondent.”
Nick: “It’s good to be back, Luke.”
Alyson: “We’d revealed the best and worst movies and TV shows of 2012, as well as the most shocking news of 2012, and what else, Nick?”
Nick: “We will explain that after the number 35, Coldplay – Paradise.”
Alyson: “Already?!”
#35. Coldplay – Paradise
Nick: “That was Coldplay – Paradise, and ironically, the number 36 is also Coldplay’s hit single, Princess of China, so they’re close.”
Alyson: “Yeah, they’re really close in position, and anyway, we’d talked about the best movies and TV shows of 2012, as well as the most shocking news, but although it’s 2013 already, it’s time to reveal the Best Games of 2012! And I’m not a huge fan of them anyway.”
Nick: “Don’t speak about that unimportant sentence, and not only the best video games to be revealed today, but also the most anticipated comebacks of 2013! But first, let’s reveal the best video games of 2012, and we have five best video games to reveal, first up number five is… Far Cry 3.”
Alyson: “Far Cry 3?”
Nick: “Yes, Alyson, Far Cry 3, it was developed by Ubisoft in Montreal, Canada, the game is set on a tropical island found somewhere at the intersection of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, and we play as Jason Brody, who has to save his kidnapped friends and escape from the island and their unhinged inhabitants. This game is decribed as ‘Skyrim’ with guns, trust me, you will really like the story if you play this game. And number four goes to… Mass Effect 3.
Alyson: “Wow, Dan plays Mass Effect 3, you play it too?”
Nick: “Of course, I’m a huge fan of video games.”
Alyson: “I heard this is the final Mass Effect game.”
Nick: “That’s true, but the ending was abrupt, of course fans were dissapointed by the ending of the storyline, despite that, the combat system has been changed and refined, the cover system has been improved too, a four player multiplayer co-op is also available. In fact, Mass Effect won the Best RPG Games of 2012 on Video Game Awards.”
Alyson: “Wow, so can you tell me the ending?”
Nick: “Better not to spoil it.”
Alyson: “C’mon, please, at least you can tell me!”
Nick: “We’ll be right back after the number 34 and live performance by Hedley.”
Alyson: “Please, tell me the ending!”
Nick: “No, Alyson!”

Performing their hit single, Invincible, please welcome Hedley!
Nick: “That was Hedley, our People’s Choice Best Canadian Act nominee, as well as Marianas Trench, who will perform next after we reveal the number 33.”
Alyson: “Please tell me the ending of Mass Effect 3!”
Nick: “No, we don’t have time to spoil the ending of Mass Effect 3, after all we have three more games to reveal as the best of 2012, number three is Halo 4.”
Alyson: “You mean the game is based on Beyonce’s Halo.”
Nick: “No, of course not, the first Halo game was released in 2001, back to Halo 4, the story begins four year after the conclusion of Halo 3, we, the player, play as the Master Chief, a cybernetically-encanced supersoldier. The story is set on a Forerunner planet, where the player encounters the collection of alien races known as the…”
Alyson: “Okay, no, we don’t have time to explain the very long plot of the game, but at least, why this game is so great?”
Nick: “The game graphics are almost live we see in the movie and they seem realistic and fresh, the ending was really emotional. Halo 4 grossed 220 million US Dollar on its launch day, with 300 million Dollar gross in its opening week, this broke the record of the franchise.”
Alyson: “Wow, that’s really great.”
Nick: “The graphics are really great like we’ve seen in the sci-fi movies.”
Alyson: “The number 2 of the Best Video Games of 2012 are coming up right after the number 33 and performance by Marianas Trench.”

The game was critically acclaimed, with averaged ratings of close to 90% for all versions at both GameRankings and MetaCritic, it was often regarded as one of the bests titles in its’ genre.”
