“Jake, I think you misunderstood, it’s true that we used to date each other in college, but not anymore now, I’m moving on to be the drama teacher, I’m creating my own musical, and you don’t know that I received several rejections before my musical ended up approved here with the students as the cast and crew. I’m not here for her.” Casey argued.

“Casey, Jake, I think we just need a break about this, it’s really late aready, I should…”

“Delta, answer my question!” Jake stopped Delta from leaving the office “Answer honestly, does he frequently visit you?”

“Yes, he does, but…”

“I don’t need your explanation.” Jake took his stuffs before leaving “I’m leaving.”

“Jake, wait!”

Casey then shouted “I kissed her! I did kiss her!!”

Jake turned around furiously before leaving “You son of the bitch.”

“Jake!” called Delta “Jake, you don’t understand!”

“He doesn’t.” Casey replied.

Delta slapped Casey’s face “That’s for kissing me while I’m dating Jake, you whore!”

“What… What’s my fault? I came to express my feelings to you, I love you, I still do!”

“No, you’re not!” Delta stormed off.

Remy was sitting in his bed holding the steroids, he seemed really confused whether he wanted to use it or not, he thought if he decided not to use it, he would got kicked out from the competition by Joel, he was so afraid, he was scared.

Remy said to himself “Oh God, I don’t want to use this, I just want to win the competition fair and square, God…” When Chris opened the door, he immediately hid the steroids into his bag

“Look, I don’t want to piss off with you, I’m so sorry, I’m really horrified to see you doing drugs, especially with performance enhancing drugs, but you better stop before you got disqualified.”

Remy replied “You don’t have any idea about that.”

“What are you talking about, Remy?” Chris asked, then Remy took the steroids from his bag, much to Chris’ surprise “What the hell?”

“I met Joel in his room, he gave me this, and he asked me to use it, or else I can’t compete in the swimming competition he said. This is not what I wanted! I used performance enhancing drugs to make the seniors jealous! And it ended up that I must use this stuff, now I can’t…”

“Mate,” called Chris sat beside Remy “I don’t have any idea what you’re suffering now, but we also cast in Casey’s drama, you better not to stress out. I’m with you, mate, we’ll talk with Joel after practice.”

“No, I can’t talk to him anymore, if I refuse to take steroids, he’ll get rid of me from the swimming competition. I just want to make history in Jakarta Arts that I will be the first to get sports achievement. We know Jakarta Arts has never got any sports achievements, the school always gets arts, always arts, like Kris Neil, The Sundays, The Kicks, and even Shawn Roday, and our teacher, Casey.”

“I think we better get rid of this.” Chris took the steroids before standing up and throwing them away into trash can “I want to ask you, Remy. Before you used the enhancing drugs, did you really want to use it?”

Remy replied “I was thinking whether I want to use it or not, at first I didn’t want to use it, I thought it would be cheating if I used that, but after the seniors mocked me again, I used it, I was so afraid, I thought it was wrong, I’m like asking ‘What in the hell I’ve done?’, I felt really guilty, and I’m so afraid, especially when you discover that.”

Chris offered “Mate, I won’t tell anyone, I promise.”

Remy stood up and hugged Chris “You’re my best mate, you’re really kind.”

“Thanks, bro.” Chris then said “I’ll see you during practice and we can talk about it.”

“Yeah, Shawn, I’ll be there tomorrow for another session. What? You want me to do another duet with you? Okay, I would love to, bye, Shawn.” Ally ended the call as she entered the gate, where Oliver was seen waiting for her “Oliver?”

“Where have you been?” Oliver confronted her.

“I was recording for my album, that’s all. You know I’m really busy…”

“Seriously, Ally? You said you were always busy for your own album, for your own business, you have never spent time with all of us, especially with me.” Oliver argued.

“But I joined the flashmob when we finally convinced Jordan to stay…”

“No, that was an exception, you’ve never spent your time during lunch, during the break, and after school, you got no time to spend time with us? When you will spend time with us, especially going on a date with me? I asked you! I asked you, I phoned, I texted, but you neither answer nor replied! You never have a date with me, Ally. I love you, Ally, but I’m doubt if you…”

“Oliver, I understand, I love you.”

“Yes, you said it, I love you, Ally, you love me, but… I can’t… I don’t know.”

“What?” asked Ally “Now you can’t explain why you love me? You can’t explained why despite you love me… Oh, you want to stay away from me?”

“Ally, no, you’re too cocky.”

“What the hell did you say?!” Ally argued “Am I too cocky so that I’m abandoning you and all our friends? I have my own life, Oliver, I’m recording for my own debut album, and I’m really busy, I’m sorry for abandoning your texts and your calls.”

“How about your friends? You rarely hang out with them?! I’m saying this because I’m worried about you!”

“You know what, you’re not worried, but you’re mad! You’re really mad! I’m really busy for my recording after school!”

“Fine, if you’re not going with us, we’re done!”

“I’m really done with you!” shouted Ally, then she stormed off, the music started playing, and she started singing “Love that once hung on the wall used to mean something, but now it means nothing. The echoes are gone in the hall, but I still remember, the pain of December. Oh, there isn't one thing left you could say… I'm sorry it's too late…” Then Oliver joined her singing “I'm breaking free from these memories, gotta let it go, just let it go. I've said goodbye, set it all on fire, gotta let it go, just let it go…”

Oliver then sang “You came back to find I was gone, and that place is empty, like the hole that was left in me. Like we were nothing at all, it's not what you meant to me, thought we were meant to be. Oh, there isn't one thing left you could say, I'm sorry it's too late…” Ally joined him singing again “I'm breaking free from these memories, gotta let it go, just let it go. I've said goodbye, set it all on fire, gotta let it go, just let it go…”

Ally sang “I let it go…”

Oliver sang “…and now I know…”

“A brand new life…”

“…is down this road…”

“And when it's right,”

“…you always know…”

“So this time…”

“…I won't let go…”

“There's only one thing left here to say, love's never too late…”Ally sang, then Oliver joined her again “I've broken free from those memories. I've let it go, I've let it go… And two goodbyes led to this new life, don't let me go, don't let me go…” Both of them walked away to two different paths.

Oliver then entered his room, where Jordan and Edwin were seen sleeping in each bed, while Will was writing his plans for the country prom. Will stopped writing as he saw Oliver seemed disappointed.

“Oh no, Oliver, what happened?” asked Will.

“I fought with Ally…”

“Mate, I’m really sorry…”

“No, it didn’t work at all, Ally’s too busy to be with us lately. I don’t think I’m not going forward after… I fought, damn, why, I love her so much.” Oliver was upset.

“I’m so sorry for your break-up, mate.” Will hugged Oliver “By the way, Oliver, I talked to the most of the council members, most of them agree with the country prom idea, we can move forward with that idea. So, starting tomorrow, we’re going to promote the prom and decorate the ballroom with redneck style. Maybe that will recover your sadness.”

“I just can’t… I can’t forget her, I love her so much, mate.”

“Ally, you looked really bad.” said Katie when Ally arrived at the room.

Ally asked “Is that true that I had never gone out with you because I’m too busy?” asked Ally.

Fearne replied “Ally, look, we know you’re working so hard to make your first album successful than your first single which is considered flop, it’s no big deal whether you’re going to hang out with us or not, at least you still stay here to sleep, we didn’t hate you, you’re still our best friend, Ally, especially you’re still our roommate.”

Amber added “You’re busy, we know that, we’re always supporting you and wishing you luck on your album.”

Katie added “Don’t worry, Ally, probably you can take a break on your album and spend time with us, we’re always open to accept you as our friend.”

“Thanks, girls.” Ally said “And I’m really sorry…”

Amber cut “No, no, no, you don’t need to, we understand why you rarely go out with us, maybe tomorrow afternoon you can have lunch with us.”

Katie said “Actually, Casey texted me that the drama practice will start immediately after school, so most of the cast, including me, Jordan, Edwin, Chris, and Remy can’t go have lunch together with you, I’m sorry.”

“No big deal, Katie, after all, I missed Oliver too, I miss Will and the others.” Ally said “I want to go on a date with Oliver actually when he asked me, but I can’t, I forgot when I’m going on a date with him. I’m still thinking about it.”

Fearne said “Prom is coming, isn’t it? Maybe you can have a chance for a date with him, you can make your date more special than before. It’s your chance, Ally, to make up with him, after all, he is one of the committees along with Oliver.”

“Just give it a shot, Ally!” said Katie.

“Ask him.”

Ally replied “Maybe later.”

“Why?” asked Amber.

“I don’t want to talk about him.” Ally walked into the bathroom alone and locked the door, she then sat down on the toilet, she took the toilet paper beside the toilet as she started crying, she also took her Xperia Z to see the pictures of her and Oliver posing together which was taken during the winter break, then she started singing “I’ve been watching these all problems, the fight that I don’t want to see, my heart, heart, heart is broken, seeing all these crazy dramas. I know it was me who caused one of these parts, but I want to fix it, but it was too late, I wonder if I can go back in time, and I wish, I wish, I wish… And I wish these dramas never happened, I couldn’t dare to see all these fights, and I couldn’t dare to see my friends suffered, and it’s true if I didn’t waste my time, it would’ve never happened, and I want to fix it if I can, I wish I can go back in time… I felt really shaken seeing all of them, making me thinking what I’ve done in the past, most of them suffered because of these dramas, ‘cause I know I can’t repair and back in time… And I wish, I wish, I wish… And I wish these dramas never happened, I couldn’t dare to see all these fights, and I couldn’t dare to see my friends suffered, and it’s true if I didn’t waste my time, it would’ve never happened, and I want to fix it if I can, I wish I can go back in time… Time… I wish I can go back in time… I wish it’s true…”

The next afternoon, the cast of Flop Love, including Katie, Edwin, Jordan, Chris, Remy, Angie, Paul, Ashlee, and Sophia, continued their practice for the musical, Casey had been watching any improvement from the cast and crew, including this one:

Katie told as Claire Van Den Dungen “Well, when I first saw you in the train station, you’re not so handsome in the outside, but you’re really handsome inside, I can see my future with you.”

“Claire, you’re the kindest girl that I’ve ever met, you made me falling in love with you, you’re seemed like a princess to me.”

“Thank you, and you’re seemed like a prince charming, I think this can be a fairytale ending.” Then Katie walked as the backup dancers who acted as the customers and café staffs walking around the stage, they immediately stood around her and Edwin, as well as the music started playing. She started singing as they started dancing “I begin this story with the opening word like all the fairytales ‘Once upon a time’. Here we go, we meet and fall in love, we ended up falling in love, when we see each other for the first time. Here we are,”

Edwin sang “We’re now together, we’re now trying to hold on…”

“Wow!” Casey seemed really impressed watching the musical number.

Then Katie and Edwin sang when the backup dancers picked up their partners and started dancing romantically “In this love, we’re writing our own story, from the beginning, middle, and the end, and we’re going to be writing this fairytale ending. In this love, love will always win, and nothing can break it up, even by the evil ones, and we’re writing this fairytale ending.”

At the backstage, Angie seemed really jealous watching their great performance, while Paul seemed really impressed, much to her dismay.

“Damn, their performance is like rubbish.” said Angie, then she saw Ashlee and Sophia dancing into the music together while holding hands “I can do better than that!”

Chloe approached Angie “You don’t have any idea how good she is, and you’re not good as me.”

“What the hell did you say to me, you little bitch?” yelled Angie.

“Watch your attitude, girl, if you think you’re better than her, you’re wrong, you’re really worse than her and me especially, everybody will think you’re really bad!” shouted Chloe.

Angie yelled “Go on, say it, say it louder! Just say it or tell everyone you’re dating the boy who didn’t graduate last year, he’s going to be more stupid if he dates you!”

Chloe soon started the catfight, and Angie punched and kicked her. Chris and Remy, who were in the backstage as well, immediately ran after them to stop the catfight, as well as Ashlee and Sophia. Chris and Remy held Chloe, while Ashlee and Sophia held Angie, both of them still yelling at each other.

“How dare you to say that piece of crap to my boyfriend, you slut!” yelled Chloe “And your boyfriend is nothing but just stupid materialistic boy!”

“Stop! Stop! Stop!” shouted Remy.

“Girls, calm down!” shouted Sophia.

Casey then noticed the fight and ran to stop them, which made the Katie, Edwin, and the backup dancers stopped their musical number, Casey shouted “Hey, hey, hey, what the hell is going on?!” He broke up the fight “Stop, girls!” Angie then stormed off after she pushed both Ashlee and Sophia.

Sophia whispered to Ashlee “She’s such a jerk, babe.”

“Yeah, babe.” whispered Ashlee.

“Man, shall we continue without Angie?” asked Casey “Now from the top! From the first scene!” Casey seemed really emotional during the practice lately, it was because of the failing to know that Delta had been dating Jake.

Edwin approached both Chris and Remy “Casey seemed pretty upset, did he hate the scene?”

“Did he?” asked Chris “He seemed enjoyed it.”

“I don’t think it was the fight that caused Casey got mad, it must’ve been something else outside of the musical practice.” Remy said.

“Then what?” asked Edwin.

“No idea.” said Chris.

“We’re back into the first scene, in 5, 4…” shouted Casey.

At 4:19 PM, Ally was seen stirring her milkshake using straw in Asphalt Canteen on the table, she was confused what went wrong with her relationship with Oliver.

Amina told Ally as she came to see her “It’s closing time for lunch time, you better leave immediately after you drink that milkshake.”

“I know.”

Amina asked “Is something wrong, honey?”

Ally tried to explained “My boyfriend dumped me last night because I was too busy recording for my debut album, I had never spent quality time with him, he asked me, but I turned it away or didn’t reply. So I don’t want to record any song right now, I’m now confused.”

“Baby, you’re really famous here, you’re going to record your own album, right? But it’s not about your business to record your own album, you’re really famous, but you don’t have to neglect your friends and even your boyfriend, you shouldn’t have neglected your friends only to record your album, they need you, they need to spend quality time with you.”

Then Chris came with Remy while saying “I can’t believe what I’ve seen!”

“Me neither, mate!” shouted Remy.

Amina said to both of them “I’m sorry, guys, we’re closing early.”

“Guys,” Ally called “What the hell happened?”

Both Chris and Remy told it all:

It was in the locker room next to the swimming pool at 2:30 PM, when Chris and Remy attempted to tell Joel that Remy didn’t need any steroids to help him win the regional swimming competition, however, they ended up finding a steroid in front of the lockers.

“Steroid?” Chris took the steroid “What in the hell happened?”

Remy opened the locker, not only one, but all of them, and there was not only one, but two or three steroids in every single locker “Oh man, that’s why Joel forces me to use steroids.”

“That means…”

Back to Ashpalt Canteen at 4:21 PM, Ally asked “Wait, so Joel technically forced them all?”

Amina added “I remember that their face changed a lot, not only their face, but also their bodies. That’s really disgraceful that Joel forced them to use steroids only to cheat.”

Remy said “I admit I use performance enhancing drugs not only to win the preeliminary round for the regionals, but also to make the seniors jealous on me, I felt really guilty when I had classic symptoms for using it. I was forced to use steroids afterward, but I didn’t want it, I want to win the competition fair and square.”

Ally asked “So are you going to tell Mr. Henderson?”

“We’re going to.” Chris replied.

“Wait, if you want to tell Mr. Henderson, you need…”

Remy cut “Don’t worry, we got their pictures from their Facebook, before meets after.” He took his iPhone and showed every single swimmer in Jakarta Arts who used steroids, from before to after they used steroids.

“That’s really nice, but you need more authentic evidences rather than this.” Amina said.

“And that’s why we interviewed the former swimmer who was supposed to compete in regionals last year, but he quit after he discovered that all swimmers in Jakarta Arts must use steroid in order to win, we already called him, now he’s waiting in front of Mr. Henderson’s office for us.” Chris added.

“But before that, we need some drinks first.” Remy said.

Ally said “Guys, I better leave and… good luck with that.” She walked away from the canteen, in the entrance, Oliver walked into her “Hey,”

“Hey, look, I’m so sorry for last night.”

“No, I’m supposed to apologize to you because I didn’t spend time with you for a date that you asked for, you begging me on phone, text, and even on my LINE, I forgot when I was really busy that I still have you and the others. I actually want to hang out with you guys, but I feel I couldn’t, my debut album is really important for me because it will kickstart my career if it’s successful.”

“Ally, look, I was a total damn jerk, I yelled at you last night, you’re probably too busy for your debut album, I told you I really love you, but it feels we need to take a break right now before we’re ready to continue.”

“I agree, Oliver, I guess it’s not working at all, if you want to change your mind, just ask me.”

“Yeah. I got to go, there’s another meeting at the council.”

“Great, I’ll see you tomorrow.” Ally finally left, with Oliver seeing her walking, then they imagined the music playing, Ally and Oliver started singing, with their friends singing in different places “Everybody can clash with each other, everybody can attack each other. Everybody can make the real life drama, everybody can blame each other for the cause. Everytime, everywhere, anything could happen. Anytime, anywhere, we can start the drama. Everybody can clash with each other, and it can end up with the unresolved drama.”

Both Ally and Oliver sang “Are we still friends? Are we stronger? Are we enlightened? We have to… Deal the drama… Deal the drama…”

Meanwhile, Amber was washing her face in the bathroom, she used her Ponds Flawless White on her face, then she rinsed her face. Afterward, she saw Denny behind her from the mirror.

“Denny, please, can you stop coming to me before Fearne and Katie see you?” asked Amber.

“No, Amber, I really love you. I love you.”

“I know you’re already dead, you’re not alive, you’re not real, Denny. Can you please begone from my current life?” Amber then realized “I’m sorry, Denny, I blurted out at you, but I hope you’re really you, you’re really here.”

“I’m really here, I’m real.”

Then Amber kissed Denny before leaving the bathroom, then she sang “Everybody can clash with each other, everybody can attack each other, everybody can say bad things about each other, we know something bad is happening.”

Fearne walked out leaving VIVA bringing the groceries, as she walked, Katie and Edwin greeted her after they finished practicing the musical.

“Hi.” Katie greeted.

“Hi.” Fearne replied anxiously “Katie, Edwin,”

“Fearne, you looked terrible.”

“Yes, I didn’t tell my parents I was pregnant during my break in the UK, they don’t know I’m pregnant, I’m so scared that they’re coming here for a visit, I… I can’t tell them I’m pregnant.” Then Katie hugged her. Fearne sang “We’re feeling guilty for making the drama.”

Edwin sang “We’re feeling sorry.”

“We’re not feeling innocent.” sang Katie.

Three of them sang “It’s time to end all these dramas by not running away from it by getting stronger.” Then the rest of the gang joined singing in different places “Are we still friends? Are we stronger? Are we enlightened? We have to… Deal the drama… Deal the drama…”

Delta walked away from the teachers’ office to the school’s gate, she looked very upset and confused with the choices between Casey and Jake. She took her phone to text Jake, as she almost done with the text, Casey called her from the front of the gate.

“Hi.” Casey greeted.

Delta asked “Casey,”

“Look, I’m really sorry for the previous night, you’re still dating Jake, but I kissed you, and you know I still have that feelings on you, and now I can feel you have feelings on me, you love me.” Casey claimed “I admit that I love you, Delta, maybe you want to give another chance.”

“Delta.” Jake called behind her.

“You better want to speak with him, I’ll go.” Casey then left.

Jake started speaking to Delta “Hi, Delta, I really love you.”

“Jake,”

“No, please let me finish. I really love you, Delta, but I can’t go moving forward with our relationship.”

“What do you mean?” asked Delta.

“You still love him, I can see that you still have that feelings on him, I guess we need a break.”

Delta asked “Are… Are you breaking up with me?”

“I can’t date you while you’re still loving him, Delta, dating someone who is still in love with someone else feels wrong, I can’t date you while you’re still in love with Casey. You have to choose between me and Casey, if you choose Casey, don’t hope I’m coming back for you.”

“Yeah, I guess I really have to choose between you and Casey, but please don’t be mad if I choose Casey rather than you, we can still be friends.”

Jake threatened “No, I’ll leave Jakarta Arts to let you together with Casey and I… I’m gonna make new start and get over you. I’ll start my new life somewhere else but Jakarta Arts.” Jake then left, leaving Delta heartbroken.

Delta then returned to the music classroom crying and upset, as she opened the door, she quickly sat down in front of her piano and started playing it and singing as she tore down “I’m trapped between two hearts, I’m stuck between two pavements, I don’t know which way is the right one that will show me the right path. I’m confused and I’m feeling shaken, ‘cause I can’t decide which way I will take. I’m so afraid if my decision will make my happy ending, I’m so afraid if I choose the wrong way that lead to unforgiveness. I’m not ready… to choose between… Between two different paths that I need to choose, I need some help to choose the path, the path that will lead my happiness, cause I’m not ready to choose between two paths.
