Holly: “We’re finally back at the Best of 2013! We’re sorry we’re not live on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as we promised.”

Nick: “But the great news is… we still have 40 videos of 2013 to count!”

Holly: “In the end of the show, we’ll be revealing the Best Canadian Act.”

Nick: “Before that, we’re counting down the video number 40 to 36, and… Kanye West is here performing in the Live Lounge! We also have Kim Kardashian who is sitting in the front seat in the Live Lounge! *camera shows to the front seats of the Live Lounge, where Kim Kardashian is sitting, then back to the studio* We also have top 5 scandalous celebrity moments of 2013 to be revealed during the show!”

Holly: “Too bad Drew isn’t here, he’s celebrating Christmas with his family in Belfast.”

Nick: “Yeah, but it didn’t stop us from continue counting down, let’s start the top 40, people! From number 40, it’s Hunter Hayes – I Want Crazy!”

Holly: “Back in May, Amanda Bynes was facing charges for reckless endangerment, attempted tampering with evidence, unlawful possession of marijuana, she tweeted ‘My lawyer is getting my case dropped!’. Last year she was charged for DUI, which is still pending.”

Nick: “Amanda Bynes was previously known as the lead actress of The Amanda Show and What I Like About You. She began her career as Nickelodeon star, her story was touching because she was supposed to have promising career. Ironically, she followed Lindsay Lohan about legal issues.”

Holly: “But in July, she was hospitalized and placed in 5150 Psych Hold after allegedly starting a fire in the driveway home of California for four months. Now she’s living in her home with her parents to start her career as a fashion designer.”

Nick: “And the most scandalous celebrity moment number 4 is the doping confession of Lance Armstrong.”

LANCE ARMSTRONG’S DOPING CONFESSION

Holly: “A liar, a disgrace. The famous cyclist superstar is forced to surrender after many denials. Lance Armstrong finally confessed to Oprah in Oprah’s Next Chapter that he had been using doping.”

Nick: “He had won Tour de France for seven consecutive times from 1998 to 2005 before he was disqualified from those races and banned from competitive cycling for life for doping offenses. And in the early of the year, he finally confessed to Oprah during the most watched episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter.”

Holly: “In the meantime, the documentary, The Armstrong Lie, is now playing in the theaters in the U.S.”

PARIS JACKSON’S SUICIDE ATTEMPT

Holly: “After her many personal struggles, Paris Jackson, the daughter of Michael Jackson, attempted suicide by swallowing 20 Motrin PM and cut her wrist with a meat cleaver. The 911 call immediately commenced at 1:15 AM when Paris attempted to slit her wrist.”

Nick: “She was immediately taken from the family's Calabasas home by stretcher at around 2 AM on June 5 ... and an ambulance rushed her to a nearby hospital. She was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold for 72 hours at Children's Hospital in L.A.  She was moved Sunday to the UCLA medical center for further psychiatric evaluation ... the same place her father died 4 years ago that month.”

Holly: “She also left suicide note during her suicide attempt.”

Nick: “Paris Jackson’s Suicide Attempt was the most scandalous celebrity moment number 3 of 2013. Next we have Reese Witherspoon’s Arrest which is our most scandalous celebrity moment number 2!”

REESE WITHERSPOON’S ARREST

Nick: “Thanks to TMZ, the video showed the arrest of Reese Witherspoon for alleged drunk driving and failing to maintain a lane. She was arrested early in the morning of April 19, 2013 in Atlanta during the filming of The Good Lie.”

Holly: “It’s too bad for this Golden Globe and Oscar winning actress, she even lied for being pregnant, she wasn’t actually. When Witherspoon's lawyer and her husband, Jim Toth appeared in court on May 2, Toth pleaded guilty and was ordered to complete 40 hours of community service, an alcohol-education program, and one year of probation; Witherspoon pleaded no contest and was fined $213.”

Nick: “Coming up, we have most scandalous celebrity moment of 2013! Kanye West is performing up next, first we have video number 38!”

Nick: “From her video, We Can’t Stop, which featured twerking and racy new image of Miley Cyrus, who had ditched her Disney image to be her own artist and transform into her new too sexy image. However, the video was overshadowed by her wild VMA performance with Robin Thicke.”

Holly: “Her twerking and giant foam finger were very nasty. The performance became  the most tweeted about event in history, with Twitter users generating 360,000 tweets about the event per minute; breaking the previous record held by Beyonce's Super Bowl XLVII halftime show performance six months earlier. Then came the infamous Wrecking Ball video which featured her naked, with no bra or panties in the wrecking ball.”

Nick: “Her scandalous performances also made her being number 9 of Bing’s Most Searched Person List in 2013. It also too much for Liam Hemsworth, her fiance, to handle, the couple officially called it quit in September.”

Holly: “While her new video, Adore You, is recently released, you can now watch the video premiere right after the video number 37.”
