Jakarta Arts’s Best Moments From Season Two So Far…

Delta arrived in front of the door “Knock, knock.”

“Miss Delta.” called Oliver.

Delta said “I’m really sorry that you have lost your roommate recently, Christian, he left Jakarta Arts. However, I have a new friend who would love to be your roommate, he is a transfer student.” She called the boy “C’mon, don’t be shy, just say hello to them.”

The boy then showed himself, he walked to the front of the door, he saw Will, Oliver and Jordan. The boy wore black jacket, grey t-shirt and black jeans, he had short brown hair, acne-free face, he had not beard and moustache yet.

Jordan greeted the boy “Hello!”

Delta introduced the boy “He’s Edwin, he is actually from Dutch, he recently transferred to this school, I hope you guys can get along together as roommates. By the way, Jordan, he will be your classmate too.”

“Whoa, I’m really excited!” replied Jordan.

Meanwhile in the principal’s office, Casey entered the office to see if his script was greenlit for the new musical in Jakarta Arts. The principal’s office

“Your drama is titled Flop Love, the woman who failed at love?”

Casey denied “No, it’s not, you better read it again.”

“I’ve read it thousand times already.” Mr. Henderson joked “I can’t believe you’ve grown into the great screenwriter, I wonder why they rejected your script, although this script is not perfect, it has potential. So, I will give the musical greenlight, and you can started casting all Jakarta Arts students for the role.”

Casey said “Wow, I have never heard that sentence, ‘my script has potential’, I tried to pitch it on Broadway, West End and even in Sydney Opera House, I’ve never heard the ‘potential’ word.”

Mr. Henderson added “By the way, Casey, we’re short on drama teachers here, one of them, has recently called it quits at the end of the semester.”

Casey immediately accepted the offer “Yeah, I would love to, I would love see Jakarta Arts students studying too, teaching them would be a great opportunity for me.”

“Welcome back to Jakarta Arts, Spencer.”

In Balboa Heights HQ, Ally met one of the record company’s biggest artist, Shawn Roday.

Then Shawn greeted as he arrived to see Ally “Hi, Ally, I’m Shawn Rodriguez, my stage name is Shawn Roday, I’ve seen your video several times, and your songs are pretty great!”

Ally said “Okay… I’m currently recording them for my debut album in addition with the new songs.”

Tim told Ally before leaving “You better be careful, Ally, with this guy!”

Shawn offered “Ally Sanders, I’m asking you, would you love to dance romantically with me?”

Ally felt awkward “So… sorry, I think not, I have a boyfriend, and I’m still studying at school too.”

Casey walked into the teacher’s office bringing his box, he went to his office, which had the former drama teacher, Keith, name in it, he took the name sign and replaced it with “Casey Spencer” name board on the door.

“Hi,” Delta arrived at the office lobby greeting Casey “You’re new?”

Casey turned around “Delta, it’s been about six months.”

“Yeah, since our college breakup.” Delta walked approaching Casey “When did you arrive here?”

“This morning, when I saw the students performing in the square, those students are really great, Delta.”

“Yeah, one of them is Ally Sanders, she’s recently signed with her record label.”

“Wow, that’s really great, she could be the next Kris Neil.”

“By the way, Casey, I’m moving on, I’m now dating Jake, the English teacher.”

“Fair enough.”

Because of Katie’s unconfidence in the drama class, Casey recommended her to audition for a role in his musical.

Casey recommended “Katie, I’m holding an audition for my own written musical, it’s titled Flop Love, I would love to see you auditioning for the musical, I think you should because I believe you would regain your confidence. If you don’t want to, it’s okay, I won’t force you.”

Katie said “Mr. Spencer, I’ll think about it, thank you very much.”

Ultimately, Katie did audition for the lead role, she impressed not only Casey, but also our celebrity judges, Alyson and Shawn.

Katie started tapping her feet on the floor, mimicking the cups sound on the song, then the band behind her started playing the background music, then she sang “I've got my ticket for the long way 'round, two bottle whiskey for the way, and I sure would like some sweet company, and I'm leaving tomorrow. Alyson and Shawn were very impressed by Katie’s performance, both exclaimed “Wow!”

“Can we…” Shawn said.

Casey suggested “You better listen until she finishes.”

Katie tapped her feet again on the floor, mimicking the cups sound again, she sang again “I got my ticket for the long way round, the one with the prettiest of views, its got mountains its got rivers, its got sites to give you shivers, it sure would be prettier with you. When I'm gone, when I'm gone, you're gonna miss me when I'm gone, you gonna miss me by my walk your gonna miss me by my talk, you're gonna miss me when I'm gone oh...” Then she tapped her feet again, this time more! She started dancing impressively to Casey, Shawn and Alyson, who were impressed.

“See, Shawn, I told you she’s excellent.” Casey remarked.

“Holy crap.” Shawn exclaimed.

Katie answered “I’m auditioning for the lead, Claire Van Den Dungen.”

Casey gave her standing ovation again “Woo, that’s what I’m talking about confidence! You regain your confidence! I would love to see your confidence more if you get the role!”

“Thank you very much, Mr. Spencer.” Katie thanked.

Casey also promoted his musical after Ally and Shawn’s performance in Jakarta Arts Square.

“Guys, Shawn is one of the judges for my musical casting, you better impress him by auditioning for the role, it’s your time to show him you’re shining star!! And by the way, there’s Alyson from The Sundays who is on break from Juilliard!” The audience cheered Alyson, he continued “So the casting is still open, if you want to impress him, her and me, sign up for my musical casting and get the role what you want! The sign-up sheet is now on the square board!!”

“KYAAAA!!” shouted the audience.

Ultimately, most of the students audition for the musical roles, including Jordan, Edwin, Fearne, Chloe, Angie, and Paul, even new characters as well, Chris, Remy, Ashlee, and Sophia. But three couples, Katie and Edwin, Angie and Paul, and Chloe and Lewbert, were called for the callback for the lead roles. The judges were joined by Todd Lawson, another celebrity judge. The judges give the songs from the musical to sing by them.

Todd announced the songs “Chloe and Lewbert, you will be singing Without Love from Hairspray, Casey said they like your rock style, but he would love to see your Broadway side. Angie and Paul, you get You’re The One That I Want from Grease, you guys seems experienced with this thing, but Casey wants to see you feel living up the song like the real couple. Last but not least, Katie and Edwin, Casey wants you to sing Tonight from West Side Story, he would love to see you performing together as the loving couple for the first time since he had seen your great auditions.”

The three couples auditioned again with the assigned songs, some were good enough, some were bad enough. But ultimately, here’s the result:

While Amber faced her dark past as she must face her old flame, Denny.

Amber then saw the same black guy standing in front of the door looking at her, she said “Denny… Denny…”

“Denny?” repeated Ally “Who’s Denny?”

Amber no longer saw the black guy after Ally asked “He… I don’t want to talk about it. I really don’t want to…”

Oliver asked “No, Amber, you have to tell us, tell us who Denny is!”

Even though Jake dates Delta, he also cares to other woman, including the sexy teacher, Riley.

“Jake, actually I had a past in the previous high school, I was the math teacher at the time…” Riley told her story:

Riley arrived at the math classroom, seeing most of the students were annoyed by her arrival, Riley used her black glasses at the time “Good morning, students, so I will be your teacher for the math subject, what the last time your teacher…”

“Just shut the hell up, bitch!” shouted the punk girl, Riley mentioned to Jake that the girl was called Louise.

“I’m sorry…”

“It’s Louise.”

“Okay then, shall we just begin the…”

“We don’t need you, bitch! We just want to have fun and you screw it!!” yelled Louise stood up walking approaching Riley.

“Louise!” Riley shouted before being punched in the face.

Riley ended her story to Jake “Then I passed out, I woke up at 10:30 PM, and they stole my Sony Walkman.”

“I’m really sorry.”

“So I quit from that school and move here, I have to change my teaching style, I have to make at least my students having fun while learning from me.”

“You don’t need to be sexy, you don’t need to be risque, Riley, just have fun teaching them, students are your friends too, be nice to them, but don’t be too risque.”

Meanwhile, Remy had really dark secret when his PE teacher, Joel, gave him some illegal drugs.

“Very well, nobody needs to know if we’re here.” Joel took something from his pocket, which made Remy shocked. He held a orange bottle, he then mentioned “This is a vitamin which will help you win the competition, drink this, and you’ll win the game, just take it.”

Remy took the bottle “Thank you very much, sir, but I’ll consider about these vitamins, I don’t know if I will use it or not.”

But eventually, his mate, Chris, found out his secret…

Remy shouted as he saw Chris took his bag “Hey, what the hell are you doing?!”

Chris opened the zipper and found the orange bottle, he asked again as he showed the bottle to Remy “What’s this? What the hell is this?”

“Vitamins?”

Chris was in doubt “Vitamins? With no labels?”

“Just a supplement, Chris! Mate, I need to stay fit while I’m taking the swimming competition and the musical role as well!”

“Where did you get this?!”

“I… that’s not your business, it’s no big deal.”

“You’re taking performance enhancing pills, do you think it’s no big deal?!” Chris got emotional.

“It’s just once, Chris… It was yesterday, I just want to win the competition.”

“And look what has that pill done to you, mate!” Chris moaned “I asked you one more time, where did you get this? Answer the question, Remy!”

“I… I got it from Joel.”

“Joel? Our PE teacher?!”

“Yeah, the night before last night, he wanted to see me if I want to win, then I said yes. After that, he gave me this, I… I took the pill before I swim, because I know I want to win this competition, and I want to prove to the seniors that I deserve to win…”

Meanwhile, Jordan was once again in trouble when he faced another dark past involving his late father, the debts that he left, so most of his friends helped him.

Casey said “Guys, you’re his closest friends, I guess you know why you’re gathered here, bad news for him, the debt collectors came back this morning to ask him to pay the debt which his dad left, so he is quitting Jakarta Arts because he can’t pay the debts. Now we know he needs help, but he didn’t ask us.”

Will raised his right hand “I’ll discuss with the other members of student council with Oliver to talk to help Jordan.”

“Yeah, you’re the leader of the student council, talk to them and convince them to help him! While the rest of you, go back to the class and spread the news, and ask everyone for money.”

Edwin said “Sir, why don’t we make flash mob to surprise him?”

Ally replied “Yeah, that will make Jordan believing he’s not the only one who suffers, and there’s help for him. We have to also ask everyone in every single class to join the flash mob in addition to donating for Jordan’s debts.”

“How much the debt is it?” asked Chris.

“We don’t know, but we can donate our money as much as we can to stop Jordan from quitting the musical!” Katie answered.

“And Jakarta Arts.” Remy added “But sir, I may not be involved into the flash mob, I had swimming competition at 2 PM.”

Will said “No, the flash mob performance will be held in the square at 8:30 PM, so you can join us.”

“Alright, guys, now you’re going to work. Ally, Remy, and Edwin, go back your class and tell them about the matter, don’t forget to ask them for donating the money and joining the flash mob. The rest of you, stay here to talk to decide the song. Now, go, go, go!!” shouted Casey before Ally, Remy, and Edwin left the room.

At 8:15 PM, Jordan finished packing all his stuffs, then he took a piece of paper from the table after taking his pen from his pocket. Jordan started writing his “resignation letter”.

“What are you doing?” Edwin entered the room.

“I’m quitting Jakarta Arts, I’m done here, I have to work with the debt collectors.”

Edwin then asked “Jordan, have you known Gangnam Style?”

“Yeah, I saw the video, it was the first K-pop video that I’ve ever watched, it also reached a billion views, right?”

“Gangnam Style is a cultural phenomenon, most of our favorite celebrities, including Katy Perry, Britney Spears, and T-Pain really love it. Gangnam Style also inspired flash mobs all around the world.”

“Edwin, I’m really sorry, I have to leave.” Jordan took his bag.

“Jordan, before you leave, let me accompany you, I have something to make you better before you leave. C’mon.” Edwin took Jordan out of the room.

“Hey, what the hell are you doing?!” shouted Jordan.

“Just wait and see!” shouted Edwin taking him through the stairs to the dormitory front door, when he opened the door, the flash mob finally greeted them by dancing.

Then Chris greeted by singing “Oppa Gangnam Style! Gangnam Style!”

Edwin then sang while taking Jordan seeing the flash mob dancing Gangnam Style “Najeneun ttasaroun inganjeogin yeoja, keopi hanjanui yeoyureul aneun pumgyeok inneun yeoja, bami omyeon simjangi tteugeowojineun yeoja, geureon banjeon inneun yeoja! Edwin sang louder “Jigeumbuteo gal dekkaji gabolkka!!”

Later Ally came and took Jordan walking through the flash mob dancing Gangnam Style, she also sang “Jeongsukhae boijiman nol ttaen noneun yeoja, ittaeda sipeumyeon mukkeotdeon meori puneun yeoja, garyeotjiman wenmanhan nochulboda yahan yeoja, geureon gamgakjeogin yeoja.” Katie also came and joined them singing and dancing “Naneun sanai, keomjanha boijiman nol ttaen noneun sanai, ttaega doemyeon wanjeon michyeobeorineun sanai, geunyukboda sasangi ultungbultunghan sanai, geureon sanai.”

Remy ran to the front of Jordan, Ally, and Katie singing louder ““Jigeumbuteo gal dekkaji gabolkka!!”

The dancers sang as Remy took Jordan to Jakarta Arts Square “Oppa Gangnam Style! Gangnam Style! Op, op, op, op… Oppa Gangnam Style! Gangnam Style! Op, op, op, op… Oppa Gangnam Style! Eh, sexy lady! Op, op, op, op… Oppa Gangnam Style! Eh, sexy lady! Op, op, op, op…”

When they almost arrived at the square, they were greeted by the flash mob dance moves, Remy sang “Ttwineun nom geu wie naneun nom, baby, baby, naneun mwol jom aneun nom. Ttwineun nom geu wie naneun nom, baby, baby, naneun mwol jom aneun nom. You know what I'm saying!”

They finally arrived in front of the stage as the flash mob singing and dancing even better “Oppa Gangnam Style! Eh-eh-eh, eh-eh-eh… Eh, sexy lady! Op, op, op, op… Oppa Gangnam Style! Eh, sexy lady! Op, op, op, op… Eh-eh-eh, eh-eh-eh… Oppa Gangnam Style!”

Jordan got really impressed by the flash mob dance moves, he also became really happy for being greeted by the flash mob, especially from Jakarta Arts “Oh crap! That was really amazing!”

“You still have friends in Jakarta Arts, Jordan.” Ally added.

Jordan then said “I don’t know what to say, but… thank you, thank you so much, I didn’t expect this, I wasn’t begging for money from you, but thank you!”

Chris asked “One more thing, have you made your final decision to leave Jakarta Arts?”

“I… I’ll stay.”

Everyone cheered and gave applause to Jordan, they happily greeted him back and were really proud.

“I’m glad he’s back.” Oliver said.

Will replied “Yeah, we should welcome him back.”

The flash mob shouted happily “Jordan! Jordan! Jordan! Jordan!”

After the flash mob performance, Casey met Delta, but eventually, unexpected twist happened.

“Hi, I saw you singing around the flash mob.” Delta greeted while she was entering Casey’s room.

“It’s late already, why don’t you go home and get some rest?”

“I was preparing for the next test for the kids.”

Casey walked approaching Delta “So it’s kinda awkward, well, I should leave, see you tomorrow.”

“Yeah.”

As Casey was about to walk away, he turned around and kissed Delta’s lips. Delta was surprised and shocked to receive his kiss. Then Casey walked away from the room, while Delta remained shocked.

This moment made Jake really jealous on both of them!

“Jake, I think you misunderstood, it’s true that we used to date each other in college, but not anymore now, I’m moving on to be the drama teacher, I’m creating my own musical, and you don’t know that I received several rejections before my musical ended up approved here with the students as the cast and crew. I’m not here for her.” Casey argued.

“Casey, Jake, I think we just need a break about this, it’s really late aready, I should…”

“Delta, answer my question!” Jake stopped Delta from leaving the office “Answer honestly, does he frequently visit you?”

“But I joined the flashmob when we finally convinced Jordan to stay…”

“No, that was an exception, you’ve never spent your time during lunch, during the break, and after school, you got no time to spend time with us? “Joel! Joel!!” shouted most of the students who greeted Joel who had exited the principal’s office.

The reporter from Jakarta Arts Weekly asked “Is that true that you forced every swimmer in Jakarta Arts to use steroids?”

One of the students mocked “Hey, Joel, you’re old man! You’re coward when you forced them! It’s seems you’re fake teacher!”

“You son of the bitch!!” shouted Joel punched the student, later the reporters “Stop following me!! Leave me alone!!”

“Joel! Joel!!” shouted most of the students who were following him “Joel, stop! Are Chris and Remy told the principal?”

“Forget those stupid things! They’re jerks!! They tried to make me fired and they succeeded!”

“That’s because you’re stupid son of the bitch! You’re fake teacher!” shouted one of the students.

A female student said “How dare you forcing them using steroids! That’s really childish and inhumane!!”

“Stop it! Stop it!!” Joel stormed off, he walked away from the school.

Ally and Oliver met again in the prom, despite many arguments, they decided to reconcile.

While Ally poured the punch into the glass, Oliver greeted her “Hi, Ally.”

“Hi.”

“What a nice song choice, you’re great as usual, and the way you sing that song really touches me so much. I remember that time that we spend together, and it also reminds me what we should’ve done so we didn’t have to break up.”

Ally said “Oh, then you confronted me like a coward.”

“No, no, no, Ally, listen, I don’t know if I can apologize for my mistakes, and I don’t know if I can forgive you for abandoning me for fame either.”

“I told you, I’m really working hard for my debut album, I need to make my debut album to be successful than my debut single, so I can kickstart my career better than ever.”

Ally cut Oliver’s words by kissing his lips, then she said “I love you too, Oliver. I understand. We can dance as a couple. But I want you to sing a duet with me, it will be recorded for my debut album.”

“I’ll help you, Ally, I really love you.”

“I love you too.” Ally made out with Oliver.

But the prom was not for Delta and Jake repairing their relationship.

Then Casey kissed Delta’s lips, which was seen by Jake, who immediately left in dismay. Then Delta stopped the kiss, Casey asked “Is something wrong?”

“I have to go, Casey.” Delta immediately left.

Casey’s luck was not there when his musical spring break preview received negative reviews from both critics and students, which made cast and crew fighting with each other which lead to the most dramatic, the most epic, and the most shocking tantrum of the season.

As the show ended, no one but less audience members was seen giving applause, the critics immediately walked away from the theatre without giving any single applause, much to the surprise of the cast and crew, especially Casey, Katie, Edwin, Jordan, Fearne, Chris, Remy, Angie, Paul, Chloe, Ashlee, and Sophia.

“Holy crap, why the hell happened?” asked Casey.

Katie got surprised the most “But… we’re giving our best shot…”

“But how…” said Chris.

Sophia shouted cynically “That’s impossible! You know that! We shouldn’t have invited the critics!! They’re trying to destroy our show!!”

Angie blamed “Actually the terrible fat girl is screwing the show from the beginning!! She was miscast to destroy Mr. Spencer’s show!”

Jordan angrily defended Katie to Angie “What did you say again to Katie?! Huh!? Say it again to me?!”

Angie shouted “I told you she screwed the show from the beginning!! She’s such a fat bitch who just want to be famous!”

Edwin then defended Katie as well “What the hell?! It’s obviously not her fault! Don’t call her fat bitch!”

“She’s really fat bitch!” shouted Angie angrily.

Paul said “Finally there’s a fight going on.”

Angie shouted again mocking Katie’s eating disorder “You know! It’s obvious from the beginning she’s trying to screw the show! And Katie, yes you! You’re a bitch! You just a fat bitch who suffered from vomitting and can’t eat anything just want to be famous! You can just eat what you want and vomit wherever you want!”

“Hey!” shouted Sophia angrily “She’s suffering! You hurt her feelings!”

“Hey, guys, stop…” Casey was overwhelmed by the fight so he can’t stop it.

Angie shouted back to Sophia “I’m sorry, but she’s deserved to suffered from this nonsense!”

“It’s not her fault! It’s all critics’ fault to ruin the show!!” Sophia yelled back “They can screw the show, but we’ve been working hard for this!”

“Says who?! Huh!” Angie walked trying to hit Sophia, but was stopped by both Paul and Chris.

“Let’s just stop the fight and try working hard, okay?!” shouted Chris to Angie.

Chloe rejected “Hell no!” She blamed Katie “You know what! Angie’s right! Thanks to the fat whore we fight about this! I won’t make it stop!”

Chris said “Excuse me?” Then he noticed Katie’s face showing that she’s upset during the fight, along with Fearne “Mr. Spencer!”

Sophia continued the fight showing her cynical side “You’re whores! You’re all whores!! Screw you! You know that, f*** you!!”

Chloe then pushed Sophia, but later she was held by Paul, she angrily yelled “You shut up, Asian bitch! Now you’re trying to screw the show! What the hell is wrong with you, Asian bitch!”

Ashlee defended Sophia by punching and pushing Chloe to the floor, then Chloe attacked her, most of the cast and crew came to see the catfight as Jordan, Paul, Edwin, and Remy try to stop them.

Angie mocked Sophia again “Take that, Asian bitch!” Much to Sophia’s anger.

“Bastard!!” Sophia yelled as she punched Angie in the face, starting the fight between them.

Katie, who had been seeing the fights, along with Fearne, passed out as Chris and Casey came.

“Katie!” shouted Fearne “Chris! Mr. Spencer!”

“Oh God, Katie!” shouted Chris tried to wake Katie up.

“Chris, Fearne, we better bring her out of the theatre now!” shouted Casey before holding Katie out from the theatre.

“C’mon, Fearne.” Chris took Fearne out from the theatre to avoid fight while pregnant following Casey to exit the theatre through the audience seats.

As the fight continues, Amber’s hallucination about Denny was getting worse…

“Amber, I need to get you to the hospital, Jordan phoned me you got an headache.”

“No, sir, I’m fine.” Then Amber held her head again as she suffered another headache.

“Amber, you’re sick, you need to go, c’mon!” Jamie then took and bring Amber out from her room.

Amber insisted “I’m fine, sir…”

As Amber was taken to the hospital, Chris, Remy, Casey, and Katie also arrived at the hospital, but bad news comes about Amber.

Then the neurosurgeon opened the door exiting the MRI room “I’m afraid we got some terrible news about your student, Amber Rudolph.” He revealed the diagnosis “It’s a brain tumor.”

“What?” shouted Chris.

“What in the hell…” Oliver said in shock.

Everyone seemed really shocked after hearing the news regarding Amber’s condition, Chris walked back and kneeled in shock. Oliver was also upset after hearing the news as Jamie and Casey were speechless. At the same time, Remy and Katie arrived just to see all of them really shocked.

“Mr. Spencer!” called Remy.

Casey then told “She has a brain tumor.”

“Damn it!” shouted Chris punched a bench blaming himself “Man, I knew there was something wrong with Amber! I knew it! I knew it! I should have told her it was wrong, but I was too late! Damn it!” Chris kept punching the bench before Remy stopped him by holding his right hand.

“Mate, it’s not your fault, you can’t just blame yourself, I know Amber resisted your question, you’d told me that, bro. It’s not your fault, you can’t add your stress level beside the problem of Flop Love with critics and audiences, Chris.”

“But why her?! Why must her, Remy?! Why?! Why?!” shouted Chris.

Casey stopped Chris “Hey, stop blaming yourself, Chris.”

“Mr. Spencer, why the hell this is happened to us!? Why?! And why Amber must suffer from this brain tumor on her head! I could’ve possibly helped her before it’s too late!” shouted Chris “Damn it!”

“Chris, stop blaming yourself, this is not your fault.” Remy said.

Oliver added “Guys, I don’t understand why Flop Love was heavily panned by critics and audiences after this spring break preview, but I don’t think it’s that bad.”

Casey then received text from Mr. Henderson “Guys, crap, especially Chris, Remy, and Katie, all cast and crew of Flop Love will be facing detention tonight at 7 in the determined classroom, no exception at all, the detention is compulsory for all of cast and crew and everyone who has been involved in the musical, NO EXCEPTION.”

“What the hell was that for?” asked Jamie “Is that really necessary for all cast and crew to attend detention?”

“They had a fight a lot.” Casey replied “And… Mr. Henderson wants to see me regarding the Flop Love failure and the fight among cast and crew also tonight at 7, if I fail to meet him in his room, then he has no choice but to cancel the musical, I guess…”

“He’s cancelling the musical?” asked Katie.

Casey was determined “I won’t let that happen, this is my dream to become a screenwriter and director, I can’t let him cancel the musical, I just can’t! If he cancels, I will be sorry for you too, cast and crew of Flop Love, you’ve been working hard so badly, you’ll be disappointed if he cancels the musical.”

Remy replied “Maybe some will get happier when the musical gets cancelled.”

“What should we do now?” asked Katie.

“I don’t know, it’s 3:35 PM already.” Remy looked at his watch.

“We better see Amber if she’s alright.” Chris told “I feel sorry for her, I was too rude to her.”

Remy touched Chris’ left shoulder “Chris, I told you it wasn’t your fault.”

“No, I questioned her rudely when she got upset with my questions. I feel it’s time to check her.”

Jamie then said “Wait, you wanna see her? Let me take you.”

“I want to see her too.” said Remy.

“Me too.” Oliver told.

Katie added after she had sent the LINE message to Ally “Me too.”

Casey told “You guys go, I’m going back to Jakarta Arts for early meetings with Mr. Henderson, I’ll be right back to pick you up. Jamie will stay with Amber till the night.”

“Wait, what about her parents?” asked Chris.

“Jamie has told them.”

Casey argued after his musical was critically panned by critics with Mr. Henderson.

Mr. Henderson who was sitting in front of his table stood up “Spencer, Flop Love is flopping, critics and audiences have been already hating it during the show! Cast and crew were fighting into physical violence after the show! That’s why I’m giving them detention for physical violence! And you too, Spencer, I’ve been watching on your progress of the musical, and I think it’s useless to present the musical to the public!”

Casey denied “It’s not useless, sir! It’s to showcase what they have got with their potential and talents! I know my students are talented during the musical!”

“But it received critical panning from the critics, Spencer! You should remember that! I’m sorry but I have no choice but to cancel the musical if this ever happen again!’

Casey shouted “Cancel? You’re cancelling the musical?!” Casey turned around before punching and threw the book and the Indonesian flag into the floor, he angrily yelled “I’ve been working so hard for this damn! I’ve been rejected! And my musical is flopping for real! All you have to do is to damn cancel it! Do you think it’s necessary, sir?! We’ve been working hard for this and you’re not letting us to continue?!”

“Spencer!” shouted Mr. Henderson “Remember this! If this happen again during practice, you better leave and you won’t be here anymore because you’re going fired!”

“I’ll prove who’s the boss, sir! But you better not to stop them! They’re damn talented, sir!! You better see this damn musical and I’ll prove the critics are wrong!” yelled Casey before leaving the office in anger.

Meanwhile, Ally and Shawn are called to the HQ, where they rudely greeted by the new CEO, who disagreed with her new song.

Sir Alan immediately cut “I’m not asking the reason why you have written or recorded the song, Sanders, yet. Your song is called This is Not the End, can you please explain why the song is called like that, and why the lyrics containing the you-thought-amazing lyrics?”

Ally explained the reasons “The reason why the song is called that, I mean the reason why the song was written by us is to convince our pregnant friend not to leave her dreams away, she thought her dream was over when she got expelled for being pregnant, so we performed in the airport to convince Fearne, even though Fearne is leaving to UK before finally arriving back in Jakarta Arts, we successfully convinced her not to bury her dream, now she’s an aspiring actress like our friends.”

“I had enough answer from that question. Next question, who is the boy in the song singing with you?”

“He’s Oliver Arnett, he’s not only my frequent singing partner at school, he’s not only my best friend, he’s not only my number one fan, but he’s also my boyfriend, we’ve been friends since the elementary school, even though we’re not in the same middle school. I’m glad he’s going to Jakarta Arts too after I had seen his audition, he was amazing, I thought he was really charming with his voice.”

“Why did you choose him to record the song as a duet?”

“Because we had promised to record a duet together since Thanksgiving, when he confessed that he had a crush on me. Then we’re dating for…”

“That’s not the good reason, Sanders!” Sir Alan rudely cut, then he asked again “I ask you again, why did you choose him to records the song as a duet?”

Ally answered “Because I think his voice fits into the song, so we’d decided to record that song together with Shawn.”

“Then why you didn’t ask the producers for permission or consulation to record the song?” asked Sir Alan.

“Because… Because… The reason why I didn’t ask my producer is… I’m always being under control by the producers, I tried to express any idea during songwriting, but they rejected, rejected, and always rejected, they resisted their idea,”

Sir Alan slammed his table “I had enough with that reason, Sanders! The producers gave you that idea because we want you to be successful, we want our record company being in glory again after being defeated by our rival, The WR Records! Now all we have to do is to make your album more successful than your crappy first single with Shawn Roday! Now you don’t have any rights to say your idea to the producers! While on the way back to the school, something unexpected happened…

Then suddenly, Chris saw a speeding white Daihatsu Luxio from the right, he warned “Mr. Spencer!”

However it was too late when white Daihatsu Luxio crashed Casey’s Ford Focus ST. Casey’s Ford Focus ST spun, spun, spun across the street which made several car crashes, most of the car stopped after that accident. A total of 5 cars were looked spun and destroyed by the white Daihatsu Luxio. Then… what about Casey, Chris, and Remy?!

Chris regained consciousness inside the busted Ford Focus after the car crash, the car was turned and destroyed by Daihatsu Luxio which hit the car, he was bleeding from his forehead. He then came out from the car through the broken window, when he touched the street, he accidently touched a piece of broken window, he was struggling to stand up before finally did it.

“Remy! Mr. Spencer!” shouted Chris as the people around the street came seeing the crashed Ford Focus “Remy! Mr. Spencer!!” He sat down and touched the door of the car.

“Chris! Chris!” shouted Remy “Mr. Spencer!”

“Remy!” shouted Chris in relief, he saw Remy was okay, but Casey… He was unconscious as his head was bleeding, he was seen still holding the steer. Chris shouted “Mr. Spencer! Mr. Spencer!!” Chris looked at the crowd who was looking at the car, he yelled “What the hell you looking at?! Don’t just see!! Just help!!” Then some of the crowd walked to help both Remy and Casey, some called an ambulance and a police officer. Coincidentally, a beautiful IBS News reporter came reporting the news with cameraman wearing a cap recording her.

“But I don’t want to leave him alone, he’s suffering from that damn accident! And… I also can’t accept that damn driver’s apologize! Remy, Casey’s like my dad!” Chris sat down on the floor in tears “You know, Remy, Casey’s not only my teacher, he’s not only my friend either, he’s like my father! I know when I first audition for Flop Love, at first I wasn’t getting into it, but Casey asked me to or else he… I can’t say it, I just can’t.”

Remy held Chris’ hand “Chris, I know what you feel about him, he’s like my father too, we’re classmates, so he’s our homeroom teacher, I can feel what you’re feeling right now. But Casey wants us to attend the detention. Chris, the reason why I’m auditioning for the musical is… because I want to try something new, the musical, I’m a swimmer too, Chris, you remember how I win the school swimming competition by performance enhancing drugs, but you warned me, mate.” He started crying “I guess we’re both in tears. Just tell me why you’re auditioning for the musical, I won’t tell anyone, I swear.”

Chris revealed his reason “You know I was one of the bullies, I was a quarterback, but I quit because it didn’t suit me, and I got bullied until the end of the first semester. At the beginning of this semester, I was lonely, I only sing and dance, Freddie left us, I could talk with only you before we meet Freddie’s friends, so Casey asked me to audition for the musical when I suffered from insomnia thinking being bullied and afraid, I sing Apologize by OneRepublic, it’s my most favorite song of all time.”

At 6:55 PM, most of the cast and crew of Flop Love arrived and entered the Indonesian language classroom, with the exception of Chris and Remy, who would arrive late due to traffic jam in every streets of Jakarta. Kyle, the most infamous teacher of Jakarta Arts, had been waiting by sitting down in front of his table cynically looked at the students who were sitting down on their selected chairs, with Edwin, Jordan, Fearne, and Katie in the front, with two chairs in the front being empty. Jordan texted Oliver if Amber had finished her surgery, while Edwin texted Chris whether they would be arriving immediately before the detention even began.

“The cast and crew of Flop Love, why the hell are you here? Why the hell are you facing detention with me? Why the crap you’re terrible for your performance in the musical?! I don’t know why, but it seemed you couldn’t accept the fact that you’re all…” Kyle pointed on Jordan, who was surprised “Yeah, including you! You’re all horrible! As the teacher of Jakarta Arts, I’m hugely disappointed what the hell happened with you, okay, the detention begins in less than three minutes!” Kyle pointed on the two empty chairs, he asked cynically “Are all of you here, cast and crew of Flop Love?! Huh! ANSWER!!”

“No…” answered most of the students.

“LOUDER!!” yelled Kyle louder.

“NO…”

Chris and Remy finally arrived and entered the classroom, with both of them saying “Sorry, sir, we’re…”

Kyle cut “JUST SIT DOWN!”

Both Chris and Remy sat down on the empty front chairs, Remy was next to Chris, while Chris was next to Jordan.

“You’re not allowed to talk, gossip, or anything! You’re allowed to do nothing but staying sitting down here! This is detention for all of you! All of you!” yelled Kyle, then he took his phone opening the text “Excuse me, I have to go, I’ll be right back ASAP, no talking allowed!” Then Kyle left.

Sophia said “Thank God that infamous son of the bitch was gone.”

Ashlee added “For temporarily.”

Angie said “And this is because of all of us, or even worse, perform terrible, but not me.”

Sophia got emotional “You’re too terrible, Angie, you don’t deserve to say that!”

Paul told “That’s because we’re all being too afraid to face the people in front of us, silly.”

Chris shouted “Enough! Mr. Kyle will be right back as soon as possible, we’re not allowed to talk at all in this detention!”

Chloe remarked “Aha! So Mr. Mason gives us advice to all of us, that’s not good advice, Mr. Mason.”

Sophia yelled “He’s right, you bitch! We’re not supposed to talk about this during detention!”

Ashlee looked lost hope “You know what, I guess I’m done with all of this, this is useless, even detention can’t even help us realize.”

Paul said “Yeah, this is pointless, I want to quit!”

Most of the cast and crew of Flop Love told that they really wanted to quit the production angrily, including Angie and Chloe.

Chris yelled angrily “Silence!! SHUT UP!!”

Remy said “Chris!”

Chris said “Is running away from this damn problem is the solution?! Is this what you want?! Does quitting make you better than this?! Will Mr. Spencer be happy after hearing you just quit?! I can’t disappoint Mr. Spencer at all! I don’t want to quit this damn musical! I don’t want to let you disappoint him at all! Look, we’re terrible, but at least we can work really damn hard to make our musical damn good in its’ premiere, it won’t be perfect, but we have to step it up to make it even better!!”

Edwin continued after standing up “Chris’ right! We cannot be giving up just now! We’re not letting Mr. Spencer down! We can’t just  sitting down here and quit after this! All of us must be better than the previews! We’re closer to the premiere of Flop Love! For those who quit as the cast and crew of Flop Love are losers! For those who stay are winners! We’ll be the winners!”

Jordan stood up “Even though Katie was mocked, she’s not giving up that easily, she didn’t complain during the rehearsals! I think she’s a professional to me! She’s already been professional! This is our show, we can’t let our show down just yet!”

Katie told “See, I don’t want to quit just yet! I’m optimistic, and you should be! I realize after I get mocked, I need to step it up just like a professional!”

Fearne said “First of all, I’m pregnant, but that didn’t stop me from working for this hard for the musical!”

Remy said “We can’t just quit, if we quit, we’re disappointing ourselves, everyone in Jakarta Arts, and especially Mr. Spencer who created this musical!”

Sophia agreed “Guys, even though I’m cynical to you, you’re right, we’re not letting Mr. Spencer down!”

Ashlee stood up “You’re right, the next day, we’re going to work even harder than ever!”

Everyone in detention shouted “Hell yeah!!”

Paul said “Guess what, you’re right, we can’t let Casey down.”

Angie told “If I quit this production, I can’t be a even famous actress.”

Chloe said “I’m afraid it’s true for you, but it’s fine, we’re going to save the musical.”

Oliver was falling asleep while waiting for Amber. While Amber’s parents was worrying sitting next to him. Then the surgeon got out from the OR calling Amber’s parents while the rest bringing Amber out of the room, the clock showed 9:59.

After they all left, leaving Oliver falling asleep on bench, he woke up and noticed that the surgery was done “Crap, I must’ve missed this, I got to go back to Amber’s room.” He said before walking to the elevator, as the elevator closed down, he started singing “Step one, you say, ‘We need to talk.’ He walks, you say, ‘Sit down. It's just a talk.’ He smiles politely back at you, you stare politely right on through.”

Ally also sang while walking away to the teachers’ office “Some sort of window to your right, as he goes left and you stay right, between the lines of fear and blame, you begin to wonder why you came.”

In the detention, Katie, Fearne, Edwin, Jordan, Chris, Remy, Ashlee, and Sophia sang even though Kyle was sitting in front of them “Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend, somewhere along in the bitterness, and I would have stayed up with you all night, had I known how to save a life.”

Kyle said at 10 PM “Detention’s over, everybody’s out! Get the hell out of here!”

“Finally.” said Chloe.

Edwin said “Rehearsal starting tomorrow before the premiere next Friday! We have to work hard even though without Mr. Spencer!”

Oliver sang again before the elevator opened “Let him know that you know best, 'cause after all you do know best, try to slip past his defense, without granting innocence.”

Delta, who had just arrived bringing flowers at the lobby immediately walked to the elevator while singing at the same time “Lay down a list of what is wrong, the things you've told him all along, pray to God, he hears you, and I pray to God, he hears you. Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend, somewhere along in the bitterness, and I would have stayed up with you all night, had I known how to save a life.” Then she saw the elevator opened, she saw Oliver exiting the elevator “Oliver?”

“Delta?”

“How’s Casey?”

“I have no idea. I was waiting for Amber.”

“We have to see Casey.”

“But, ma’am, the hospital is already…”

“I don’t care, I want to see Casey now!”

“Okay.” Oliver entered the elevator back with Delta.

Amber sang while she was sleeping dreaming about her dead boyfriend in front of her parents “As he begins to raise his voice, you lower yours and grant him one last choice, drive until you lose the road or break with the ones you've followed.”After she had given him goodbye kiss in her dream, she finally woke up as she sang “He will do one of two things, he will admit to everything, or he'll say he's just not the same, and you'll begin to wonder why you came.”

“Amber!” shouted both of her parents happily hugged her.

Jake sang as he cleaned up his table in his office “Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend, somewhere along in the bitterness, and I would have stayed up with you all night, had I known how to save a life.”

Will and Shawn sang standing up in Jakarta Arts Square alone “Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend, somewhere along in the bitterness, and I would have stayed up with you all night, had I known how to save a life.”

Delta and Oliver entered the room where Casey was staying lying in bed, indicating that he was fine, Delta called “Casey…”

“Delta…”

“I’m glad you’re fine…”

“I’m so sorry, Delta.”

“No, you don’t have to.”

At the same time Oliver and Delta standing up in Casey’s room, most of the cast and crew of Flop Love exited the Indonesian Language classroom, while Ally entered the teachers’ office, Will and Shawn walked away from Jakarta Arts Square, Amber was lying in bed in her room, all of them sang simultaneously “Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend, somewhere along in the bitterness, and I would have stayed up with you all night, had I known how to save a life. Where did I go wrong? “The nationals… is at… 6:30??” said Remy looking at his Twitter “It clashes with the premiere of Flop Love, it’s 6:30 too!”

Chris told “Oh crap…”

“I don’t know what I should choose, the musical or the swimming competition? If I leave the musical, everything I’ve done with it is useless, if I leave the swimming competition, I wasted my opportunity to be a great swimmer. This is my decision, and it’s so hard.”

“Mate, I don’t mean that I don’t want to help you, but you better choose which your passion is, you want swimming more, or you want be an actor more. It’s your choice.”

April 11, 2014, 5:55 PM, most Jakarta Arts students arrived at Jakarta Arts Theatre to watch the most anticipated school producted musical, Flop Love, despite being critically panned by critics during the spring break previews. The audience was not only from Jakarta Arts students, but also some alumni, including Shawn, Todd, Justin, Henry, Amanda, Amirah, Esmeralda, Alyson, Miranda, Lauren Madison, and Sharon Morr, as well as some critics who came back to watch the show. But Shawn, Todd, and Alyson had VIP access because they were the judges for the casting, so they went to the backstage, seeing the cast and crew preparing for the opening night. From costume, lighting, to props, they seemed did well.

Casey called the cast and crew “Everyone, gather round! Gather round, everyone!” After they gathered, Casey reintroduced the casting judges “Guys, these are the judges for the casting, Alyson Cage from The Sundays, Todd Lawson from Lawless, and last but not the least, Shawn Roday ‘the clumsy’.”

Shawn complained “Are you kidding me?!”

Alyson said “Congratulations for making this far, guys, I’m really proud of all of you.”

Todd continued “Now it’s time for you to shine, be free, don’t depend on perfection, it’s all about you.”

Shawn continued “I hope your work hard paid off in this musical, I can’t wait to see you perform and act.”

Alyson advised “Remember, this is your show, my advice, you guys need to feel it like you perform for the last time in Jakarta Arts, or maybe this is your first time at the musical!”

Todd also said “This is your unforgettable moment, guys, so don’t disappoint the audience again like in the previews.”

“We’re also here to help you, but with the special guest.” Shawn said.

“Come out, girl!” shouted Alyson.

Miranda entered the backstage, most of the cast and crew cheered her, she introduced herself “Hi, guys, I’m Miranda Shay, as you know, same with Alyson, I’m one of the five members of The Sundays. Along with Amanda, Esmeralda, and Amirah, I’m also here to watch you guys perform, but I’m also giving you some advice if you want to.”

Casey said “Guys, it’s almost 6 PM, you need to hustle! Go, go, go!!” Then everyone continued preparing for the opening night of Flop Love, however, Casey asked Jordan “Jordan, where are Chris and Remy? I thought they’re here already.”

“I have no idea, sir.” Jordan said, then he got a text from Remy “Sir, Remy is in the national, he says it clashes with the opening night.”

“I knew it.” said Casey “He had told me before, okay, we better replace them.”

“I’m sorry, sir?”

“Jordan, the nationals clashes with the opening night, they can’t be here, so I want one of you to replace them.”

“But…”

“No buts! It’s 6 PM already, we’re 30 minutes away from the show!”

“Yes, sir!” Jordan then walked away to see Edwin.

Chris was at the audience seats watching Remy competing in the finals for the championship title, he looked really excited to see if Remy really won and made Jakarta Arts really proud. But… he took his phone, he got a call from Casey.

Chris replied the call “Casey?”

“Chris, are you two still in the nationals?” asked Casey “I know you both want to perform, so you need to come before the part two even started.”

“Casey, who replaced us in the first part?” asked Chris.

“Well, Shawn and Todd replaced for you both, but if you come, you’re going in, don’t worry, as soon as you finish with the nationals, come back immediately.”

“Yes, sir.” Chris said “And… say thanks to both Shawn and Todd. And…”

“Is something wrong?” asked Casey.

Chris revealed “Casey, I’ve changed a lot since you asked me for audition for the role, I’ve met many new friends, I’ve been learning to be myself, and… you’re like my father.”

“Thank you, mate. You’re the first one to say that. Chris, you’re like my son even though I’m still young. Don’t forget to come, don’t be late.”

“I won’t.” Chris ended the call before the swimming race began.

The final ten swimmers jumped into the swimming pool competitively, Remy immediately swam so fast, however he wasn’t in the lead, instead, he was the 7^th place since the start.

“Remy!! C’mon!! You can do it!!” cheered Chris “C’mon!! Be the champion!!”

Remy soon listened to Chris’ cheers despite being too far, he immediately fasten his speed as he turned back when he touched the right edge of the pool, he immediately took the 6^th, 5^th, 4^th, 3^rd, and 2^nd place, however, the first place swimmer finished first, followed by Remy who finished second.

“Oh man!” shouted Chris shocked “You’re the second!” Chris soon left the bench to see Remy near the pool.

Remy got out from the swimming pool and he immediately met Chris “I’m the second.”

“That’s too bad, mate, you’ve done the best.”

Remy got happier “Actually I’m really happy even though I’m not the national champion, I’m the first from Jakarta Arts to make into the national in sports championship, I’m really proud of it! It’s okay not being the first, maybe next year I’m holding the championship title.”

Then all audience members gave the musical standing ovation and cheers, much to the cast and crew’s delight.

“Bravo!!” shouted Oliver.

“Yeah!!” shouted Ally.

Delta shouted “Amazing!!”

Casey smiled to the cast and crew “C’mon, we greet the audience for the final time!” All cast and crew walked to the stage in rush to greet the audience, after the curtain got opened, most of the audience members cheered in joy.

Katie got in tears “Oh my God! I can’t believe it!!”

Edwin said “Yeah, this is not a dream!”

Jordan shouted “You rocks, both of you!!”

Paul then noticed Dawn in the audience seats “Mom!”

Dawn shouted “Paul, I’m sorry but I’m proud of you!!”

“Thank you, mom!!”

Sophia said “Thank you, everyone! Thank you!!”

“Thank you!!” shouted Chris and Remy.

Casey then greeted “Thanks for watching Flop Love, everyone! We didn’t expect that we’re going to get standing ovation for all of you, guys! Thank you very much, guys! I appreciate it! Now Flop Love is playing every weekend nights in April!” The audience cheered and gave applause once more. Then all cast and crew bowed to the audience as the curtain fell with many applause.

At 12:00 AM, Casey looked back on the stage in Jakarta Arts Theatre, he reminisced from when he auditioned the cast and crew for his musical, getting practicing together, even getting a feud in the spring break preview, to the successfully critically acclaimed performance.

He smiled “Guys, thank you very much, I’ve reached my dream to become one of the directors and screenwriters, and now’s your turn to make your dreams come true.”

Jake greeted him “That was really brilliant, Spencer.”

“Jake?”

“Look, I’m not here to talk about Delta, but I’m here to congratulate you for giving the best musical that I’ve ever seen.”

“Thank you, Jake.”

“So, you’re not going home yet?”

“Not yet.”

“Aren’t you tired already to…”

“No, I have to wrap it up by my own, the kids are already falling asleep in the dorm.”

“Just let me help you.” said Jake helping Casey cleaning the theatre.

“Mate, I’m so sorry for kissing her.”

“No, she was your ex, it’s no big deal, after all, she has moved on from both of us.”

“You’re right, mate, it seems so.”

On the last night of the semester, it was the award ceremony, the first ever annual Jakarta Arts’ Year-End Award Ceremony, and of course, it ended with celebrations like this.

Katie sang first “I think you wanna come over,”

Sophia sang “Yeah, I heard it through the grapevine,”

Amber sang “Are you mad? Are you happy?”
Katie sang “Think about it, doesn't matter.”
Ally sang “And if it makes you feel good, then I say do it, I don't know what you're waiting for.”

Chris and Remy sang “Feel my temperature rising…”

Edwin and Jordan sang “It's too much heat, I'm gonna lose control.”

Will and Oliver sang “Do you want to go higher? Get closer to the fire, I don't know what you're waiting for…”

Then Will shouted “Miss Delta, Mr. Jake, and Mr. Spencer, come here!”

The girls sang “I'm gonna party, yeah, 'cause anybody just won't do.”

The boys sang “Let's get this started, yeah, 'cause everybody wants to party with you.”

Delta sang “Boy, you got a reputation but you're gonna have to prove it, I see a little hesitation, am I gonna have to show you, that if it feels right, get on your mark, step to the beat boy, that's what it's for.”

Jake sang “Put your arms around me when it gets too hot we can go outside.”

Casey sang “But for now just come here, let me whisper in your ear, an invitation to the dance of life.”

Then everyone on stage sang “I'm gonna party, it's a celebration, ‘cause anybody just won't do. Let's get this started, no more hesitation, 'cause everybody wants to party with you.”

Delta then slipped on Jake’s arms “Jake!”

“Delta!”

Delta then said “I choose you, I’ve decided. I really love you, Jake.”

“I love you too.” Jake then kissed Delta, while Casey smiled at them.

“Everybody, sing with us!!” shouted Oliver.

Then everyone sang “I'm gonna party, it's a celebration, ‘cause anybody just won't do. Let's get this started, no more hesitation, 'cause everybody wants to party with you. I'm gonna party, it's a celebration, ‘cause anybody just won't do. Let's get this started, no more hesitation, 'cause everybody wants to party with you. So that’s it, their journey of the semester has come to an end, but the new beginning has just begun.
